HIT THE TRAILS

and raise money for kids fighting cancer.

The entire course is 5.6 miles with a halfway exit option. You can make this hike as easy or difficult as you want!

Along your scenic hike, you will be surprised by both physical and mental challenges. Don’t worry, they won’t be too difficult and if you need a pass, all you have to do to get out of a challenge is 10 pushups!

This event is for everyone regardless of their physical fitness level, from gym rats to those who enjoy recreational hiking. All obstacles will have a beginner-level option, ensuring inclusivity and making it accessible to participants of all fitness backgrounds.

What will your challenges be? We can’t tell you that, but you should be prepared to carry heavy things, crawl under or scale objects, complete mental puzzles, and of course do at least 10 pushups.

If children as young as five months old can fight cancer, you can Conquer this Course!

Why conquer the course?

There are many obstacles a child must face during cancer. While often these obstacles show up in the form of fevers, infections, and low blood counts, some are as simple as not being able to go to school or see friends. Kids with cancer feel isolated, alone, and scared.

To overcome these obstacles, they are forced to find their inner strength and push through the pain and isolation.

When you make the choice to walk or run in One Mission’s Conquer the Course, you are making the choice to stand in solidarity with children who are fighting these obstacles every day.

By choosing to embark on a race with surprise obstacles, you will get as close as you can to being in the trenches alongside them.

Included in your hike experience

Each participant will receive an event T-shirt and a backpack for carrying items during the hike. At the finish, all participants are welcome to attend the food truck festival sponsored by Wachusett Mountain and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

We encourage participants to wear hiking shoes, sneakers are also acceptable.
