The Good Box Parent & Patient Care Packages

The Good Box Care Packages are sent to patients and parents nationwide to put smiles on their faces and show them they are not alone in their fight. The Junior Good Box patient boxes are filled with toys, games, and books while parent boxes are filled with self-care items and gift cards. Both deliver joy and smiles when they are needed the most.

Applications are currently closed as we work to fulfill current requests. Please check back in the future.

Caregiver Meals

Whatever the quickest and least expensive option the hospital cafeteria has to offer is often what parents and caregivers find themselves eating for lunch day after day. One Mission’s Caregiver Meals Program provides parents and caregivers free, healthier options. This program is conveniently offered on the oncology floor so parents can stay close to their children.

Educational resources are available to all families in the One Mission Resource Room. These materials help them learn about their child’s illness and understand the treatment their child is about to undergo.

Celebrating Amazing Moms Program

One Mission has partnered with Massachusetts General Hospital on the Celebrating Amazing Moms Program. Once a year, we’ll host a special day all about the moms that includes a brunch, a variety of relaxing and therapeutic activities such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and art therapy, as well as the chance to spend time with each other.

Cinemavision

Cinemavision MRI Patient Video/Audio System

Ever been stuck in an MRI tube? It’s horrible. One Mission purchased a pair of CinemaVision Goggles for Brigham & Women’s Hospital. These amazing goggles let pediatric cancer patients watch movies during MRI radiation therapy, which blocks out the loud noise, gives them a fun distraction, and dramatically lowers the need for sedation.
